In 2004, Pennington Biomedical Research scientists made a major breakthrough. I
worked to put together a national and local database of media outlets; it paid
off. The story “Pennington
Scientists Turn Fat Into Bone” ran in newspapers across the country,
including “The L.A. Times,” “The Washington Post” and a slew of other publications.
Helped write some content and interview study participants for the groundbreaking
CALERIE study.
The nonprofit, 2nd Chance 4 Pets,
raises awareness about lifetime care for pets. More than 500,000 companion
animals are euthanized each year due to lack of planning.
Most Delightful Foods is a small specialty food manufacturing company, striving to create nutritious gourmet food for pets.
